Good food, good drinks, good atmosphere suggestions

Will be making our second trip to Biloxi at the end of May. We are a couple in our early 50s looking for suggestions for good places to eat. Must have a good bartender. Nothing too fancy, nothing too shabby, nothing too crowded. And preferably not in the casinos as we will be spending enough time there. We both like seafood and steaks. We are willing to travel to any of the nearby towns along the coast for lunch and/or dinner. What are your favorites?

There are a lot of threads about restaurants in Biloxi, but I can%26#39;t give you a recommendation for ';good bartender'; and ';not too crowded'; because I%26#39;m not even sure what that means.

I like McElroy%26#39;s in Ocean Springs, just over the Biloxi bridge, and High Cotton Grill in D%26#39;Iberville at the 110 exit, and a lot of people like the Blowfly Inn in Gulfport. But good places tend to be crowded on the weekends.

21, like Magnolia says: there are alot of good posts in this Biloxi thread about restaurants. Just type in ';restaurants'; in the search area at the top of this thread by Biloxi.

I recommend LookOut 49 in Gulfport on Hwy. 49....casual, excellent food, casual atmosphere, woodsy interior, good drinks. Just search and you will find others on here with good info.
