Will be staying at the Terrace in April can anyone tell m what hotel this was before Terrace? Does anyone know anything about this property? Looking forward to Tunica.

I just ret%26#39;d from a 3-night stay at the Terrace in Tunica. I%26#39;ve stayed there before so I can probably answer your specific questions.

The facility is lovely. The view from my hotel window was very nice. Valet parking is free.

People who work at the Terrace have been sweet as pie to me during my visits.

I don%26#39;t know what the hotel was before it was The Terrace; however, the hotel is a half-mile from the nearest casino (The Grand). There aren%26#39;t any ';real'; restaurants on the premises at The Terrace. There is a coffee shop that sells overpriced sandwiches, sweet rolls and coffee.

Harrah%26#39;s does run a ';free'; shuttle 24/7 from The Terrace to The Grand Casino. During limited hours, Harrah%26#39;s also offers a ';free'; shuttle from the Grand Casino to its sister property, The Horseshoe Casino.

The Terrace%26#39;s swimming pool is outdoors, so it probably won%26#39;t be very inviting in April ... but maybe...

The fitness club charges a $5 per person per day fee. If you want to use the whirlpool or sauna, it%26#39;s $20 per person per day. They charge $12 per day to hook up to their wireless internet.

Both times I%26#39;ve stayed there, my room has had a mini-fridge and one-cup coffeemaker.

I would charge any of these niceties to my room. You may be able to pay for them with comps when you check out.

Ditto all what GbKaren stated.... My wife and I have stayed at most of the Tunica casino based hotels through out the years. I must say the Terrace has always hands down the best in all catorgories.

Do buy a few extra coffee singles and bottle water (very soft water). That single cup coffee just gets me mad for more ;-).
