Hi, we are planning a motorcycle trip for a long weekend on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Oct. Right now, we%26#39;re planning on getting on on it at Natchez and off at Tupelo. We%26#39;ll take 2 days for that trip. Any advice on places we should stop and explore? Any recommendations on the best place for lodging around mid-way? Any restaurants we shouldn%26#39;t miss? We appreciate any advice.

Natchez Trace Parkway in October
Not too late, but we%26#39;re leaving soon! We have hotel reservations, so that%26#39;s taken care of, but if there are any places of interest we should stop while on the Parkway, I%26#39;d appreciate the advice. We will have time to do a little sightseeing. We like exploring the history of an area, seeing quirky tourist attractions as well as high quality museums, and also the natural beauty and scenic attractions of an area. We don%26#39;t really care much about the night life, casinos, or shopping, although we might be convinced to stop for shopping with artists / crafters of an area. Oh, and one last thing - we ALWAYS stop for good ice icream! Thanks for your help!
