Sheraton

We%26#39;ve gotten a good offer from Harrah%26#39;s, two nights comped at either Harrah%26#39;s (Grand) or Sheraton. Horseshoe would only comp one night and $100 free slot play. Has anyone ever stayed here before and, if so, any thoughts, comments, etc.?

Sheraton

We stayed at Harrah%26#39;s but not Sheraton...our friends have stayed at both. The downside of Harrah%26#39;s is unless you are placed in the hotel by the casino, you will need to either drive over to the casino or take the shuttle. At least with the Sheraton, the hotel is right there by the casino (which is next to the Horseshoe and Gold Strike, but you probably already know that)

Thanks, Ducky -- think we are going to try the Sheraton. Have enough points on card for meals, just a two and a half hour drive, what the heck! It%26#39;ll keep the card active for when we go to Vegas in May of 09. Appreciate the input!

There used to be quarter machines back by the cashier that were very good to us, but I couldn%26#39;t find them when we were there a couple months ago.

There were for different areas (like there was one with a crab on the front that was for Louisiana and another for New York, etc). I can%26#39;t remember the name of them, but they were 3 reels and think 3 quarters per pull. Anyway if you see them anywhere in Sheraton, try a couple bucks in them since they used to pay out pretty good for us :)

Ducky -- will walk through the place and if we see them, will put in a $20 for you, maybe you%26#39;ll bring us luck, lol. Just killing time until we go to Vegas!!

Really like Sheraton and Horseshoe. Also, the new Harrah%26#39;s Grand does have one of the hotels that is attached to the casino, the other two you need a car or the shuttles run continuously. I believe all the Sheraton rooms have hotubs, nice. Have fun!!

nina, thanks, have stayed at Harrah%26#39;s before, wanted to try something different, so we%26#39;re staying at the Sheraton. Hope out of all that post here, someone has really good luck!!
