Sams or Harrahs - Help

We have never been to Tunica. Where should be stay. I think it has come down to those two places. ANY and ALL inpurt will be appreciated. From reading quite a few threads, there seems to be no clear cut favorite. If you stayed in either of these places, love to hear from you.

Sams or Harrahs - Help

We%26#39;ve stayed both places, but Harrah%26#39;s has the Terrace and Veranda (it used to be the Grand) so just know you have to drive to the casino or take the shuttle over there. They also have a hotel next to the casino, but we stayed at the Terrace so can%26#39;t tell you about it. Our room was excellent and had good luck at their casino.

We%26#39;ve also stayed at Sam%26#39;s and had a nice room there too...if you eat at their BBQ restaurant, keep in mind the portions are HUGE!!! I wish we would have known since we would have shared. It was good but WAY too much food!

Sams or Harrahs - Help

Just got back at the end of September from a Friday and Saturday night stay at Harrah%26#39;s Veranda. Room was great. We had a vehicle but chose to deal with the shuttle instead. Ran regularly every 5 or 10 minutes until the wee hours (Saturday night, we were out until 4:00 a.m.). Have never stayed at Sam%26#39;s (but have gambled there) but have heard that the Corky%26#39;s barbeque on it is great. Good luck and post a trip report when you get back!

God, just realized that, once again, my thoughts got ahead of my fingers!! Have heard that the buffet at Sam%26#39;s is good, that would be where the Corky%26#39;s is at, lol. Have a great time!

We stayed at Harrah%26#39;s Veranda twice this summer and loved it. I posted a review and have pictures posted. We have never stayed at Sams so, I cannot help you there.

Have stayed both places, and much prefer Harrah%26#39;s. Sam%26#39;s rooms are okay, but the casino is too crowded, noisy and smoky. Corky%26#39;s is good for BBQ.
