Trip report Nov 13 -15th

We left Charlotte on a Harrahs junket and landed in the large Tunica airport :). Had a two night comped room at Harrahs grand tower. The grand is right beside the casino and very very short walk. Very impressed with Harrahs casino, lots of table games and blackjack had many $10 tables. Early in the morning I even saw some $5 tables. Started off at the craps table and it was hot. Lots of fun with the whole table winning. It is always fun to play craps when the shooters are hot. Decided to grab some dinner at Paula Dean%26#39;s and it was awesome. Best home cooking buffet I have ever tasted. After dinner took the shuttle over the Horseshoe. It was much more crowded and walked up to the craps table again. Turned around and saw Joe Theisman playing blackjack at the $100 table. He busted out and came over and threw the dice with us for a while. Nobody really bothered him but he was nice and cordial. Not much luck at Horseshoe so we headed over to Sheraton. THis place was dead. It was aroun 9:00pm on THursday nightbut not much action going on at the tables. Played for a little but had to catch shuttle back to Harrahs. The shuttle stops running at 11:00pm on the weeknights. :((

Friday woke up to much of the same. Played more craps at Harrahs then headed back over to Sheraton (still dead) and played some blackjack. Had a great time with a local from Memphis who said she was a professional blackjack player??? Didn%26#39;t look much like one.

Only played these three casinos since we were on a Harrahs junket and they prefer you only play at Harrahs.

Really enjoyed Harrahs casino has a real vegas feel. Drink service was real good and there were two lady%26#39;s who were drop dead gorgeous. The rest of the wait staff would make you turn the other way. Horseshoe was a little crowded and seemed like a fan favorite for the locals. Really enjoyed Sheraton since it was real dead and the drink service was unstoppable. She refilled your drink when you were only half way done.

The Grand Tower is a lot closer than it looks online. I would prefer this tower over the Terrace which is a short shuttle ride across the street.

The shuttles only run every 30 minutes and they are crowded so sometimes you are not allowed to get on which really sucks because you have to wait another 30 minutes.

Tunica airport is the smallest airport I have ever seen. About a 20 minutes bus ride to the casinos.

Harrahs only has 2 restaurants open during the day. REplays which is a sports bar and has a wide variety of burgers and sandwhiches. Then there is the great Paula DEan buffet which offers everything you can imagine.

All in all we had a great trip and cannot wait to return.

Great report. Thank you very much for posting. I%26#39;m on a 2 week countdown to Tunica. It%26#39;s a great filler between Vegas trips!
