Trip report 12/2 to 12/9

Okay-after writing two reports and not getting through I see now I can. Anyway I would like to write this report because we have so enjoyed reading other trip reports before we go on our trips that I thought it was now my turn. We have been to Biloxi three times before and have enjoyed three to five days there. But this time in looking over our coupons we saw we could spend six nights comped and only spend money on a hotel for Friday night. Yeah! Let%26#39;s get out of Michigan for a week and spend time in our beloved Biloxi. Not sure if seven days is too much but lets give it try! Our first night our flight got in late so we headed right to Island View for the buffett. The shrimp was so big it takes two bites to eat one shrimp. This buffett turned out to be the best for us. Gambled a little and lost so we headed for our first comped room-the Beau Rivage. Beautifully decorated for Christmas but our reservation for smoking with gulf veiw was gone. The lady said ';first come first serve';. But the next mourning a very nice lady gave us all we wanted and an apology. Nice touch. The standard room was large and I so enjoyed the garden tub with my bubbles! Casino was not crowded the first two days we were there-makes me worry. Won some -did not lose much. Ate at the Terrace Cafe -clam chowder and cobb salad excellent. Love the Beau but on to our next comped room the Hard Rock. The room at the Hard Rock was strange. Sliding door to the bathroom-lights in the bathroom will distrub your partner. But the beds were comfy and the veiw of the pool and the gulf was nice. This was my favorite casino with newer games and an open feeling. Ate at 24/7-the best chicken wrap sandwich and Po boys. Ate also at the buffett twice because they comped us. Found this was the best place for comps. The buffett was good but do they have to keep the heads on the shrimp? Next was our only room we paid for. The Isle of Capri with a balcony was $130. for a Friday night. Room was outdated-but then to be fair we just checked out of the Beau and Hard Rock. It was in the 50 degree mark but being from Michigan I still enjoyed the balcony! The casino was crowded and tight. Ate only at the buffett and found this was the only place that had praline sauce that I love. Rest of food was okay. The next three days we spent at the Imperial Palace. Smaller room but nice. We were on the 27th floor and enjoyed the veiw of the city and fireworks they had that night. Casino nice with two floors-the second floor always less crowded. Decided to eat out of the casino . We went to Blow Fly inn and The Shed. Both well worth the drive. Our trip now is over and we still wish we were in Biloxi. Thank you Biloxi for your hospitality and spending seven days there-we found-was not enough for us!
