Deals for Biloxi, cheap eats, etc?

I%26#39;m headed to the Beau, sat-wed for a golf tournament that hubby is in. I have a few questions:

-Food, I noticed HR has buffet specials on Wed, does anyone else have specials on different days?

-Slots- any better than others? I don%26#39;t plan on winning ';big'; but , want to play for awhile. Any places the seems ';looser'; than others? Any special games?

Unless it has changed in the last 6 months....Hard Rock buffet is not all that fantastic....nice casino/resort though....a couple of good restaurants there.

Alot of the casinos on our Coast usually have special buffet prices or given free when you sign up for their players%26#39; cards....not really in the know about a general public discounts on the buffets. Maybe check on their different websites.

hudsonsmommy: The Boomtown casino has a buy one/ get one free lunch buffet on Monday if you%26#39;re over 50 and a player%26#39;s club member. The Grand has a nice priced buffet $6.99 for breakfast/ $8.99 for lunch and they put points on your player%26#39;s card at time of purchase.

I did well on the slots at the Grand and at Boomtown; hated the slot selection at Beau Rivage and consequently left after 25 minutes. Fellow posters on this site love the IP and the Hard Rock, but we never got to either one during our last visit. Planning on hitting both during our upcoming trip in April though. The slots at the Isle paid well for me, but we have an Isle of Capri here in Florida, so I didn%26#39;t stay there long. Free serve yourself coffee and soft drinks at the Isle.

We found the IP to be the best in slot selection and pay offs on our last visit. The buffet there was very good also. We love the BR as it is beautiful and it has good restaurants but payoffs not great and casino is so much busier. We prefer the casinos at IP and HR.
