First Trip to Tunica on Feb. 15

Hi everyone. My husband and I are planning a two day trip to Tunica to celebrate Valentine%26#39;s Day and my 30th birthday. I am pregnant, so I obviously am not looking at where to go to drink, but maybe some good advice on where to eat? The restaurant reviews were somewhat mixed it seemed like, and there just was not a lot on there. We don%26#39;t really want to do anywhere like Waffle House of course, and the buffets seemed hit or miss. Any regulars down there that can shed some light? We were thinking of trying the Paula Deen buffet at Harrah%26#39;s, but we just ate at the real one in Savannah in December and I am scared we will be disappointed! It was soooo good down there and we got seated right away which was rare! Anyways, how is Paula Deen%26#39;s in Tunica? Where else do you recommend that is reasonably priced? Thanks in advance!

You will NOT be disappointed with the Paula Deen Buffet at Harrah%26#39;s...and we%26#39;ve also been to the Lady and Sons in Savannah!

Corky%26#39;s at Sam%26#39;s Town is really good too, but the portions are huge so you%26#39;ve been warned! LOL

We used to like the buffet at the Gold Strike but haven%26#39;t been to it for a couple years.

Youdon%26#39;t mention if you just want to stay around Tunica or maybe drive to Memphis? (it%26#39;s only about 30 minutes or so) I can%26#39;t think of anything in particular at the moment, but you will find good BBQ there for sure :)

As TopekaDucky recommended, you can%26#39;t go wrong at Paula Deans in Harrah%26#39;s. Might I also add that the Buffet at Bally%26#39;s was really good, plus there is a nice dinner in the Hollywood with a nice menu at good prices.

We will also be in Tunica for Valentines Day to celebrate my Fiance%26#39;s 4* something birthday (She hates me mentioning her age :) ).

Have a great Time.

We visit Tunica every couple of months. We have tried most every casino and most restaurants. Our favorite place to get a meal is at Gold Strike Casino, in the Atrium restaurant. Great food, great service, and ample portions. If you are going to gamble while in Tunica, be sure to ask for comps for meals, and request which restaurant you wish to eat at. They are very liberal with the comps, and you should never have to pay for a meal. We just visited there for 4 night, room was totally comped, and all meals were comped. The best variety of table games is at the Gold Strike. All around, our favorite place is the Gold Strike Casino. Second choice would be Harrah%26#39;s. Wherever you go, be sure to get a player%26#39;s card before you play, and use it each time you play...and then ask for comps.
