Pig Out Inn

Hi

We are planning a 3 day stay in Natchez in October as part of a 17 day trip round Lousiana/Mississippi ending with Halloween in New Orleans.

I was just wondering whether anyone knew if this place is still open. Their website seems to have disappeared and we were really looking forward to a visit.

I read in a report on here that Natchez is being hit hard by the economic downturn and a lot of shops/restaurants are closing/closed, can any locals advise on restaurants still open.

Yes, the Pig Out Inn is still open for business. My husband and I just spent a three-day weekend in Natchez (March 27-29, 2009)and noticed this restaurant was getting a good business. Unfortunately with all the other restaurants we were anxious to try, we never had a chance to eat there...but it is on our list for our next visit!!
