Can anyone give me information about the Natchez Transit System? I see from the guide that it runs from the Vistors Centre about every 30 minutes. Can you hail it along the way and is there a route map anywhere? How much does it cost or can you get a daily pass?? Many thanks.

It does run from the visitor%26#39;s center, but I%26#39;m not sure if it%26#39;s just during pilgrimage or all year long. I see it from time to time, but we also have taxis and rental cars. It is also easy to walk around the downtown area. A lot of people rent bikes to travel downtown. I hope I was able to help you.

Thanks guytoguy. I%26#39;d left England by the time you posted this reply. I didn%26#39;t need the transit system in the end as we walked nearly everywhere and the Vistors Centre were extrememly helpful to us. The only place we really had to get a taxi to and from was Longwood - the main road was too busy to try crossing! Had a wonderful 4 days during the Spring Pilgrimage and would have had a carriage tour if we had more time but there were so many beautiful houses to see we couldn%26#39;t fit it in.
