In Starkville, there is a brand new Hilton Garden

Inn that just opened this week (no joke) also

close to campus is a Comfort Inn and Suites, and

a Holiday Inn Express. Truthfully, everything is close here..Starkville is a very small town.

If you get a chance eat at the Veranda in Starkville.

You can fly into Golden Triangle Airport (GTR)only

20 miles from Starkville or Jackson is a 2 hour

drive, Memphis is also about a 3 hour drive away.

Depends on your carrier you want to use..cause

only Delta serves GTR. If you get a chance drive

to Oxford 100 miles north west of Starkville , home

of Ole Miss...it is a georgeous campus and lots of

fun places to shop and eat on the town square. ONe of the presidential debates was in Oxford. If you

like literary stuff..go to Oxford Square books, stomping grounds of alot of literary giants..If you

fly into Memphis you can route yourself through

Oxford and see a great slice of Mississippi..Have

fun
