Downtown Tunica

While my husband played in a poker tournament in mid October, I decided to drive to downtown Tunica. The Tunica Visitor%26#39;s Guide said there were shops and a pretty town square. I agree with the pretty town square which was decorated with beautiful fall flowers and pumpkins but the shops left a lot to be desired. I think I was the only tourist there and most of the shops were businesses, not something for tourists. Has anyone been there recently and had a better experience? I%26#39;m not sure I want to take my friend there in June and be disappointed again.

We also drove into downtown Tunica once. We ate breakfast and left.

Agree, there is not much there. I wouldn%26#39;t do it again.

Thanks for the reply.

Have you ever gone to the Hollywood Cafe and had their fried dill pickle slices?? Wondering if that would be a fun place to eat?

I didn%26#39;t reply at first to your post, because I didn%26#39;t want to appear negative...but what you saw is all there is of the town of Robinsonville (Tunica).

Now this is a great museum though and well worth the time to stop..be sure and watch the video since it is an interesting piece of history about the area.

Thanks for the reply. My friend and I will be sure to visit the Tunica Museum and other sites around town.

The Riverfront Museum is also a really nice museum.

Thanks. We will be sure to do that too!
